Welcome back! We are starting to see things pick up with the warmer weather moving in. If you're a homeowner and need work done before Memorial Day, now is the time to get on the schedule. We are in the process of mailing over-sized post cards to homeowners to advertise our new website that is full of photos from current and previous jobs. Welcome to the new web page of High Tides Construction and Paintworks. We would be happy to assist you in upgrading your existing beach home or building you a new home. One look at our gallery will prove that we are dedicated to quality and excellence. We take pride in transforming dated homes into something more modern, plus, it's a great sense of accomplishment when a homeowner sees the final product and cannot believe their eyes! We have a significant amount of experience with remodels and additions therefore we are able to help you think out a plan that will get you the most for your money. On the construction end, we are currently working on a rot repair in Topsail Beach. This job involved an entire siding tear-off which we are replacing with CertainTeed lap siding on the upper portion and CertainTeed stucco panels on the ground level. We also replaced all the double-hung windows using West Window and installed our customary cedar trim around windows and doors. On the interior, we re-trimmed all the windows and doors plus removed the out-of-date popcorn ceilings and replaced it with smooth, more contemporary ceilings throughout the house. We are also going to install new cabinets, replace light fixtures and repaint the interior walls, ceilings and trim.

As far as Paintworks, we are painting the exterior of the house mentioned above and will be painting the interior as well. Our crew is also pickling the interior of a 5000+ square foot custom home being built by Maebilt Construction. The pickling involves walls, ceilings and trim giving this beautiful home a soft, subtle feel throughout. This job is scheduled to be completed by mid-June.
